Solution 1: Disable AVG and other add-ins from Outlook
As discussed, the main reason the problem crops up is due to the Avgoutlook.Addin. An isolated glitch might have caused this. Disabling the add-on will help.
This will only take a couple of seconds:
- Open the Outlook application
- Click on the File menu
- Tap the Options button
- Head to the Add-ins section
- Tap the Go button next to the Manage COM Add-ins option
- Simply uncheck the add-in
Solution 2: Check Font Color Settings for Plain Text Email
There’s a chance that your emails are there, but you don’t see them because you’ve accidentally changed the font to white.
Here’s how you fix this:
- Launch Outlook
- Go to the File section
- Click on Options, then head to the Mail tab
- Click on the Stationery and Fonts section
- Tap the Personal Stationery tab
- Go to the Composing and Reading Plain Text Messages menu
- Tap the Font button
- Set the Font Color to Automatic
- Press Ok to confirm
Then, restart Outlook. You should be good to go now.
Solution 3: Restart Your Computer
